Establishment Band Burgerkill

Burgerkill is a Hardcore Metal band from Bandung city. The
band's name is taken from a fast food restaurant's name from America,
namely Burger King, which by then they parodied into "Burgerkill".
Burgerkill established in May 1995 started from Eben, a guitarist who moved to Bandung to Jakarta to continue his schooling. Of the schools that met with Ivan Eben, Kimung, and Dadan as its first line-up. This
band started out as a side project, just a bunch of kids jamming Their
metal ax-hard while waiting to call original band gig. But
not for Eben, he felt that this band is his life and tried to think
hard in order Burgerkill can be recognized in their communities.
When
they got the job a lot more gigs in Jakarta through the connection of
friends Hardcore Eben, from there the underground community's enthusiasm
for Burgerkill loud music started and the phenomenon has unwittingly
born in Indonesia. As
a result the initial line-up of this band did not go smoothly, a list
of names had entered the ranks of underground musicians Burgerkill
member until he finally reached the solid line-up today.
When
they managed to release his first single by Richard Mutter underground
phenomenon who released a compilation cd Bandung underground bands in
early 1997. Other
names such as Full Of Hate, Puppen, and Cherry Bombshell is also
entrenched in the compilation entitled "masaindahbangetsekalipisan" is. It is beautiful this time the music underground. Everything is new and new Things stoked people! Revolt song! Burgerkill opening of a number on the album sold 1000 copies in a short time. In late 1997 they again took part in the compilation of "Breathless" by including the song "Offered Sucks" in it.
Early
in 1998 the journey continues with the release of their single
Proudness Blank, the compilation Grindcore bands Ujungberung titled
"Independent Rebel". That when it is released by all the major labels with wide distribution in Indonesia and also in Malaysia. After that more and more decorating Burgerkill name concert flyers around the underground music community. More and more fans are waiting for their presence on stage. In
early 1999, they received offers from independent record companies of
Malaysia, Wild Child Records who released the album ends with a deal
with Split Three Ways Infireal band (Malaysia) and Watch It Fall
(France). Relationship with the underground network in Malaysia and Singapore continued to the present. Zine
subscriptions cover Burgerkill be independent in those countries
affected by the continued increase and their fans from the neighbor
country.
In
2000, Burgerkill finally managed to release their debut album with the
title "Two Sides" and the tapes in 5000 print by the indie label from
Bandung, Riotic devoured Records sold out fans who can not wait for a
long time. In
the same year, the band also released the single "Everlasting Hope
Never Ending Pain" by compiling "Ticket To Ride", an album that benefits
are donated for the construction of a skatepark in the city of Bandung.
Some
Mainstream Achievement also had their feel, one of which was nominated
Best Independent Band NewsMusik style magazine in 2000. Early
in 2001 they were managed in cooperation with a sports apparel company
American product: the Puma support for 1 year each time Burgerkill do
the gig. And since October 2002 a clothing products from Australia who also support bernamaINSIGHT in each of their appearance.
A
surprise comes in the middle of 2004, through the album "Rustic"
Burgerkill into one of the nominees in one of the biggest musical event
in Indonesia Achievement "Awards Ami". And surprisingly they successfully won the annual award for the category of "Best Metal Production". A
feat that may never have occurred to them, and for them it is a great
responsibility they have to prove through their work further.
Finally they agreed to release the third album "Beyond Coma And Despair" under their own label Revolt! Records in mid-August 2006. The
third album has a very deep meaning for all personnel Burgerkill both
sound, structure, and what they contributed music format is very
different from the two previous albums. The material is more severe, strict, technical, and dare they contributed to its maximum in each track.
But
there was no ivory that is not broken, the biggest disaster in the
course of their career was inevitable, the vocalist Ivan finally
breathed his last breath in the middle of the process of launching their
new album at the end of July 2006. Inflammation of the brain has claimed the lives of a community icon loud music in Indonesia. Without
realizing all the lyrics on this album Ivan seems to indicate the
condition of Ivan the time, comes the story of personal and depressive
traveling in disguise as a sign of the end of his life.
Finally, after passing the Vocal Auditions, Vicki as they find a new frontman for the next stage in their career. And
in early January 2007 they have successfully held a series of tours in
major cities in Java and Bali in order to promote their new album.
Targets
sales of tickets in every city they visited was always able to
penetrate, and also ludesnya ticket sales in several cities indicate the
amount of public enthusiasm for rock music in Indonesia against
Burgerkill appearance.

In Ujungberung Rebels (hereinafter Uberebels), within the past 12 years there were at least 9 units which record the dynamics of the zine scene. Zine2 TSB is Revograms (1995-1997), Ujungberung Update (1998-1999), Loud n 'Freaks (1999), Crypt of the Abyss (1999), The Evening Sun (1999), Rottrevore Magz (1999-2004), New Noise (2000-2003), MinorBacaanKecil (2003 - ...), and Totalokal (2005 - ...).
Revograms
Revograms always disebut2 as the first zine underground music scene in Indonesia. Zine was conceived as a manifestation Dinan Extreme Grinding Noise, other than as a mouthpiece of propaganda event jg Bandung noisy I.Revograms # 1 published in March 1995. Cover image Dinan hand, surrounded by a snake monster face tengkorak2 & wajah2 who tormented souls around him. Underneath is written dr rugos: Underground Total Local Info. In issue # 4, Revograms Graveyard Productions together with his Mas Harry Surabaya, published in July 1997 Bandung Prev bbrp time Noisy II. This performance jg Dinan who became the main focus with noisy display advertisements Bandung II who provocatively on the front page and center. The Evening Sun
The first gothic magazine in Indonesia that digagasDani, one of the pioneers Uberebels, drummer and founding body of gothic band, Restless. The Evening Sun ran an article on the history of gothic, music, goth scene locally and abroad, and its development now. Within Temptation features interviews, pilori, a review of the Theater Tragedy, Sirrah, and all sorts of pergothikan. The Evening Sun is only one published in October 1999.
Rottrevore Magz
Rottrevore is in the Uberebels tergaya magazine. This zine satu2nya repousse with good quality. Rotrevore initiated Ferly, Rio, and Andre. Rottrevoe also be referred to as the best underground metal zine ever in Indonesia both in the layout and in content.
